The Story
Founded by Jason and Shari Clark in 2017, Midwest Vac Professionals grew out of 15 years of building their first company, Iowa Trenchless. After years of trenchless sewer work, Jason and Shari saw a clear opportunity to expand the level of service they could offer their customers by adding hydro excavation to safely locate existing utilities before the dig.
Founded by Jason and Shari Clark in 2017, Midwest Vac Professionals grew out of 15 years of building their first company, Iowa Trenchless. After years of trenchless sewer work, Jason and Shari saw a clear opportunity to expand the level of service they could offer their customers by adding hydro excavation to safely locate existing utilities before the dig.
That instinct turned into a company. Today, MVP employs 12 dedicated crew members and a management team that spends part of every week on active job sites, in-person, to make sure the job gets done right the first time.
With over 75 years of combined field experience, MVP operates a growing state-of-the-art fleet, including 5 VACALL hydro excavation trucks and 3 CUES CCTV trucks. The newest addition, a VACALL combination truck with a high-pressure vac pump, rear-mounted boom and hose reel, and increased water pressure capability, was just added to the fleet in 2026.
